As a founding member of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), LRQA has consistently supported APSCA’s mission to raise standards and strengthen professionalism across the social compliance auditing industry.

In some countries, LRQA did not meet APSCA’s Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) requirement and is now achieving compliance in all markets. In support of the shared goal of increasing the quality and quantity of CSCAs and as an outcome of not adhering to the APSCA Code, LRQA is working with and supporting APSCA in the development of new and future training opportunities that APSCA will be rolling out for the entire industry. LRQA will continue to expand capacity and invest in the global development CSCAs, working collaboratively with APSCA and other stakeholders to strengthen auditor capability and support clients in achieving their responsible-sourcing goals.

LRQA and APSCA have engaged in constructive dialogue on the need for enhanced auditor capacity and capability in emerging sourcing markets. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to ensuring businesses can access qualified auditors.

As part of that renewed commitment, LRQA is ensuring that all audits include CSCAs in full compliance with APSCA’s Code and the Member Firm requirements reinforcing its shared dedication with APSCA to the highest levels of professional practice and compliance with the APSCA Code.

Together, LRQA and APSCA believe this renewed collaboration and compliance achievement enhances the credibility of the profession and reinforces their shared mission of promoting professional, independent, and high-quality social compliance auditing worldwide.
