APSCA publishes its 2025 Annual Report

APSCA has published its 2025 Annual Report, providing a clear and data-driven overview of the organization’s performance, governance, and impact over the past year.

In a context of increasing expectations around human rights due diligence (HRDD), forced labor prevention, and supply chain transparency, the report highlights how APSCA continues to strengthen the integrity, professionalism, and credibility of social compliance auditing worldwide.

A system operating at a global scale

In 2025, APSCA Member Firms reported conducting 191,613 social compliance audits across 162 countries, reflecting the scale and reach of the social compliance industry.

This activity is supported by a growing community of 83 Member Firms and 5,476 Member Auditors, contributing to the continued development and accessibility of qualified auditing capacity worldwide.

Strengthening credibility and professional standards

The report highlights continued progress in strengthening system performance and professional standards.

In 2025:

Over 97.5% of audits were reported to be led by APSCA-certified auditors (CSCAs), underscoring the importance of certification and oversight.
268 ethics cases were closed, supporting transparency, accountability, and trust in the industry.

These elements reflect APSCA’s ongoing role in ensuring that social compliance audits remain credible, consistent, and aligned with evolving expectations.

Supporting a system under increasing pressure

As regulatory scrutiny and stakeholder expectations continue to rise, the report outlines how APSCA is adapting its approach to address emerging risks and challenges.

This includes continued investment in:
