Application to Recognize Training for APSCA Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Credit Hours

CPD is the continued maintenance and further development of the knowledge base and relevant skills needed to perform social compliance audits effectively, in a professional manner.

CPD activities should be designed around learning objectives and outcomes, including assessment tasks to validate knowledge retention and comprehension that link back to APSCA’s Competency Framework. Training should focus on continuous education and development on the Foundational Skills and Functional Knowledge Areas in the Competency Framework, as well as new regulations and emerging issues.

Training organizations are reminded that the courses submitted should be a formal course or program of learning that contributes directly to the professional competence of a social compliance auditor.

In completing this application, you will be required to provide a brief description of the course aim and content, identify which components of the APSCA Competency Framework the course will support, the syllabus, and any other relevant course materials.

To be considered for recognition, material will have been developed by an industry-recognized and reputable organization or trainer.

This application is open to Member Firms, APSCA affiliated partners, and independent organizations.

Please note this is a pre-screening process and does not guarantee recognition or endorsement of the proposed course or training.

For any questions or clarifications regarding the process or form, please email cpd@theapsca.org.
