Membership Update – 2025 So Far

As Director of Member Engagement, one of my key priorities in 2025 is to strengthen communications around firm membership — highlighting newly welcomed Member Firms and providing updates on firms currently in the application process.

New Members

As of October 1, APSCA has 82 Member Firms in total, comprising 63 Full Members and 19 Provisional Members.

In 2025,  three firms have achieved Full Membership:

  • Key of Sustainability (Turkey)
  • ASPIRATA (South Africa)
  • Leadership and Sustainability (Germany)

These firms have demonstrated full engagement and successfully met APSCA’s Full membership requirements. Congratulations! We look forward to continuing to support you on your APSCA journey.

This year, 16 new firms have entered the provisional phase of membership. Provisional Member Firms operate under strict oversight for two to four Quarterly Reporting cycles to ensure their systems and practices align with APSCA’s requirements. Once they demonstrate consistent compliance over this period, they may progress to Full Membership.

Firm Applications in 2025

Alongside this growth, the membership application process remains rigorous:

  • 20 applications are currently under review.

  • 5 applications were unsuccessful, with reasons including failure to meet APSCA’s Code and Standards, insufficient operational infrastructure to ensure compliance, or negative due diligence findings (including information provided by APSCA’s Professional Conduct team and feedback from current Member Firms through surveys).

  • 1 applicant withdrew voluntarily.

  • 2 firms were unable to meet requirements for Provisional Membership and had their offers rescinded.

  • In one serious case, a firm was permanently restricted from reapplying due to egregious findings.
