Find out MoreThe Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA) is pleased to announce that, following the recent voting process, Neil Willings of SGS has been elected to APSCA’s Board of Directors as the At-Large Board Member Representative. His two-year mandate begins 9 September 2025.
As a volunteer Board, APSCA is deeply grateful to the strong and diverse group of candidates who stepped forward for the At-Large seat. The richness of experience—spanning legal expertise, risk management, business growth, sustainability, technology, and supply-chain leadership—reflects the strength of our global profession and reinforces the value of APSCA’s mission.
Neil brings over 20 years’ experience developing and managing global supplier risk management and supplier auditing solutions. He currently serves as Head of Sustainability and Supply Chain Services, SGS Business Assurance, where he is responsible for supplier audit programs managed on behalf of scheme owners, retailers, and brands.
His background includes designing supplier risk programs across mining, oil & gas, utilities, transport, and construction, with on-the-ground experience in Australia, Mongolia, South Africa, Nigeria, the UK, Spain, Norway, and Mexico. Neil is recognized for building client-specific programs while leading technical functions to ensure consistent, high-quality audit delivery for third-party-owned programs. He has led multi-disciplinary teams focused on risk profiling, program content development, supplier performance improvement, and risk reduction across sustainability, social responsibility, quality, and health & safety.
Neil will work alongside Justin Bettey of Intertek (A Firm Representative), Greg Gardner of Arche Advisors (B Firm Representative) and Gabriela Lopes of APCER (C Firm Representative) to ensure member voices are well represented within APSCA’s governance.
“The Board and I are very honored to welcome Neil, and we look forward to the insights and skills he will contribute as we continue to advance the profession of social compliance auditing.”
